On a recent trip to Utah to clean out my grandfather’s house, I ran into many old photos. Here is probably one of the earliest pictures that exist of me playing piano… This is summer 1982, age 8. I had just barely begun cello lessons. That’s my older brother, Nils, on violin, and my parents.
