A 40th Anniversary of the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall Season Opening Celebration

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s inaugural concert at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on September 16, 1982, marked the dawn of a new era. The BSO opens the 2022-23 season with an evening befitting the 40th anniversary of the Meyerhoff.

Jack Everly kicks off a year-long celebration of his extraordinary tenure as principal pops conductor.

Grammy-winning soul and jazz vocalist Ledisi will headline the event with a unique take on the music of legendary singer, songwriter, and activist, Nina Simone.
